safe"? YES!! Our vent free units are A.G.A. Certified units. Which
means that they have been tested and proven to be very safe. All vent free units are
equipped with an Oxygen Depletion Sensor (ODS). Which will shut the unit down in the
event the oxygen level is too low. But not all vent free heaters are created

Vent free units come in a variety of shapes and sizes. Ranging from 5,000 to 30,000 B.T.U's. Infra-red is the most common, but we also carry the Silent Servant by Rinnai. It stay's cool to the touch and has a remote control. This unit also shuts off completely having no pilot but has electric ignition.
