Direct Vent Technology

• Napoleon's Direct Vent Gas Fireplaces and Inserts employ a sealed combustion and vent system.  This and other innovations allow for some of the highest efficiencies in the industry today.  The direct vent draws its combustion air from outside atmosphere - thereby not consuming warm house air.  Direct venting also eliminates drafts and heat loss common to existing woodburning fireplaces.  Direct venting eliminates the need for a chimney, and can be vented through a wall or roof.
